Through my work, I explore the essence of physical and digital environments through separation and visual abstraction. By taking the visual characteristics of a space outside their spatial and temporal contexts, I investigate how virtual and physical experiences alter one’s perception of reality. My works encourage the viewer to think about how different environments shape their own understanding of the world.

The process for creating my architectural prints involves photographing different landscapes, then digitally editing them to transform them into transparencies or layers through color separation. After this I screen print each layer to create an image of the landscape in a new form. For my digital projects, I use various digital software’s to create a scene that represents the experience I want to convey.
